Mubarak: Shalit talks to resume once calm returns to Gaza - Israel News, Ynetnews

I don't know but this is not his best interviews , I mean he should not have said

"I don't see a war breaking out between Syria and Israel, tensions or problems may arise, but not a war. they are aware of their capabilities, and you perceive them correctly"

Why do I feel that he is underestimating the Syrian army , for God Sake the Syrians ordered the latest Meg from Russia ??!!

I am sorry but the Syrian are our brothers and we should not speak about them like this despite all our differences and they wonder why Mubarak is losing hearts and minds in the Arab world and why we became no longer the leaders

Ironically the same newspaper he made the interview with him doesn't respect him nor its readers do

  1. Of course the Syrian army is strong, but we have to remember that Israel's army is strong too (stronger actually).

being stronger (in numbers or tech.) does not mean that you HAVE TO win though!

  2. The capabilties o f Israel are over exaggerated. Egypt and Syria almost crushed it in 1973.

Again the best way to teach Israel a lesson is:

    1) ambitious social development plans in Egypt to captilase on its huge very talented human resources pool

    2) full intgration between Arab countries, i order to mobilse the vast Arab resources in favour of development, self reliance and capacity building. This in turn will bring Arabs back into the forefront of the world

    3) In Syria the national Arab cognition is high enogh, and their level of social development is beteer thAN eGYP. However their main problem is Jurassic outdated corrupt instiutions that hinders the atualisation of potentials Syrians

    4) cunning politcal leadership with long vision, in order to avoid the blows struck at any rising Arab power. Mohamed Ali, Nassser, Sadam Hussien

  3. @Fadfadation, I don't deny at all the powers of the Israeli army ,all what I want to say is you don't have to give him more confidence in themselves that they are no.1 army in the Arab world , for God Sake they were defeated by Hezbollah and you said it it is about the number or tech

@amr I won't go in a debate with you now about the 1973 war and its results on the syrian,Egyptian and Israeli front , all what I know that the Israelis admitt that they were defeated in it
